FAQ - Mindful Design Summer Camp

When does this program begin?

Student Parent Orientation is on December 2nd, 2021.

Who is the life coach and what are her qualifications?
  • Rani Puranik - CEO, Worldwide Oilfield Machine, Chair Puranik Foundation, and lead coach. Has experience in working with more than 500+ students globally in self-expression and life coaching.
What will she be coaching the students on?
  • Personal and professional development.
What professional development will be included in this camp?
  • How to create a portfolio, write a resume and present yourself.
Do students need to have a laptop or animation software to partake?
  • Yes. If students do not have access to a laptop, please let us know in advance so we can organize one ahead of time.
What are the takeaways from this camp?
  • Self-branding, presentation skills, resume, headshot, and highlight reel (1 min or less video about themself)
  • How to confidently use adobe design software to create your own portfolio 
  • Methods for collaboration, team building, and creativity 
  • New language and tools to effectively discuss and critique your ideas.
  • Adobe design software (aftereffects, illustrator, photoshop) 
What does “Leadership through mindfulness” mean?
  • Being a leader requires awareness of self and other people. Through this program, students will become more aware of their actions and how it affects others around them.
